It was so good seeing you at the baby dedication at our church a couple of weeks ago.   You guys are so brave. I wish I could have been at our bereaved parent's support group meeting to see you guys.  I'll see you next time.  You have done an amazing job on Calan's website & I know it brings you a lot of comfort - communicating your thoughts & love to him in this way.

Two Months already...  / Mommy

How has it been two months since you came into our lives.  Even though we only held you for moments, you are held in our hearts forever.  I love you, Calan.  I can't believe that you aren't with us, but I know you are in heaven being held by the one that chose you.  God gave you to us for only a short while, but you have blessed our lives and will continue to forever.  You are Mommy's Angel.  I see you in the skys, and feel you in the breeze.  I know it may never make sense your leaving us so soon but I do know that I will see you again.   I know I will hold you in my arms and hear your voice.  Thank you sweet boy for coming into my life.  Thank you for taking away my fear of death and teach me how to live.  I want to live the life fitting of an angel's Mom.  I hope I make you proud.  Dance with the stars my sweet boy.  I love you, Mommy

It was so nice to meet you both tonight at the support meeting. I'm just so sorry our meeting had to be for the reason it was. What a beautiful and precious baby boy little Calan is and his big brother is too. I'm sorry you had to let your sweet baby go much much too soon. If there is anything my family can do for you please let us know. You have our phone number and e-mail address on the papers LaFreda gave you tonight. We know there's no way around the pain but we can and are willing to walk with you through it.

I'm so sorry for your loss ~ I know that the Lord is holding your precious Calan and telling  him all about the Love that is for him back on earth ~ Telling him how his family weeps tears of sorrow and how their heart longs to hold him ~ And they together agree to send the cool misty rain as the sweet kisses upon your cheeks, to send a gentle breeze to wrap around you their arms of love, and ask the Sun to shine bright so the warth of their love can be felt deep into your hearts ~

It's been a month  / Mommy
I can't believe it has been a month since you came into our lives.  What a month.  So many emotions, so many tears, but so much praise.  Praise for a wonderful Savior, for a wonderful family, and for a wonderful little Angel that fills my heart with so much joy.  Sometimes it hurts so bad, it hurts when I think "what if" and "why me"....but, you were meant to be an angel.  GOD CHOSE YOU!  I can't say that I blame him, you are perfect in every way.  I miss you, Calan.  I wish I could rewind a month back to have you for one more second.  We are making a garden for you.  Your Grandma and Grandpa Logue picked out some plants just for you!  I can't wait to get started.  I love you sweet boy!  Mommy Close

I am so sorry for you loss.  There is nothing like the pain of having to let go of such a part of who we are ~ I know Calan is just fine in Heaven with Jesus.  He is there with our Little Caleigh Kirk.  They are healthy babies running and jumping over all the puffy little clouds....learning about Jesus and His Love for them. 

May God reach down and give you inner peace and a strength that is without measure to continue your journey before you.

Carrie, Cortney and Christian,

My thoughts & prayers are with you all as you go through this difficul time.  So many "why's", "what if's" etc. etc.  I know them all too well.  Christy and I take each day as it comes - just trying to do the best we can.  I am finishing my masters in counseling (on the side), and intern by seeing several parents who also very recently lost a child.  It truly is like hell on earth, but I can offer you some hope.  Though each day still presents its own challenges, you too will one day be able to find hope in having a happy life again.  Yes, we still cry quite a bit, but we also now have more happy days than sad ones.  You too will get there one day at a time. Your journey will be unique, and unlike ours or anyone else's. Just be patient and know that you have more strength than you ever knew possible. 

Calan will forever be in your hearts.
